What Is Included in the Ford 20,000-Mile Service?

When you visit Chapman Ford of Horsham for our 20,000-mile service, our technicians will:

• Perform an oil change – They’ll drain the old oil and remove the old filter. Then, they’ll replace them with an OEM oil filter and Ford-approved engine oil designed to keep
  your engine happily lubricated.
• Rotate the tires – This service allows your tires to wear down at a more even rate, saving you one in the long run. They will also inspect the tire pressure, adjusting it
  as necessary. Tires with too much air or not enough air can cause problems, but the fix is simple.
• Pressure test the cooling system – Since this system keeps your engine from becoming overheated and suffering major damage, it’s an important service to have
  performed. If there are any troubles with the system, they will let you know.
• Replace the cabin air filter – This filter keeps dirt, dust, pollen, and other debris out of your Ford’s cabin, but it can become clogged over
  time as it does this important work. This, in turn, can negatively affect your HVAC system. With a new cabin air filter, you’ll be able to breathe easy once more.
• Test the battery – If the car battery in your Ford is able to hold enough of a charge, you can drive away knowing you’ll be in good condition. If not, you can get a new
  battery here. We’ll also test the terminals and cables.
• Lubricate the front suspension, driveline, and steering if it’s needed.
• Perform a multi-point inspection – During this inspection, our technicians will check the brakes exterior lights, wipers, alignment, and many more components of your Ford.
