History Has Repeated Itself
The Ford Bronco has been away for too long, but finally, after 25 years, history has repeated itself, and the Bronco has returned. For off-road drivers who can't wait to carve the next hearty trail, the new 2021 Bronco is great news!
With rugged and durable performance based on Ford tradition, the 2021 Bronco family features a traditional boxy look paired with cutting-edge technology to help you reach wherever adventure takes you.
New and Improved to Tackle Every Adventure
The original Ford Bronco had 8 cylinders and produced 199 horsepower. The all-new Ford Bronco does not need as many cylinders to generate even more power. It comes equipped with a base turbocharged 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces a whopping 300 horsepower.
Heavier 4-door Bronco models come with a little more strength via a 2.7-liter V6 engine, which brings 310 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Adept Off-road ability is consistent across all Bronco models, thanks in large part to a best-in-class departure angle of 37.2 degrees and an excellent ground clearance of 11.6 inches.
The 2021 Bronco is equipped with seven different G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) driving modes, so there is no desire or terrain too challenging for the Ford Bronco. Those modes include Normal, Sport, Eco, Slippery, Sand, Mud, Rock Crawl, and Baja to give a plethora of options for any driving surface.
With the design of the Ford Bronco, Ford has maintained the styling of the old Bronco but, for more practicality and an open-air feel, has added detachable body panels. The roof, doors, and windows can all come off whenever you need, excluding the side mirrors. This adds to the allure of the Bronco and makes it a legitimate competitor for the Jeep Wrangler. Best of all, removed panels fit in the cargo space for easy and convenient storage.
The Bronco family's Bronco Cockpit technology lets you save regular routes, easily access navigation/media controls, and fine-tune your overall driving experience without any hassles. Its standard Sync 4 infotainment system helps keep you engaged behind the wheel, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are fully compatible with all models.
Advanced camera systems help you orient complex off-road driving routes, while available Trail Control allows you to adapt to conditions with slow-speed and safe cruise control, Trail Turn Assist, and other standard systems.
The Ford Bronco is offered in seven different trims, including Base, Black Diamond, Bend, Wildtrak, First Edition, and Outer Banks. An available Sasquatch package can also be added to give your Bronco assertive 35-inch tires, tweaked suspension, and flared-out fenders. The all-new Ford Bronco features an impressive 20mpg city and 22mpg highway fuel economy.
